Chicago Blackhawks (1st) at Nashville Predators (6th)
Last 10: CHI: 5-3-2; NSH: 8-2-0
Quick Look: Central division rivals meet for the second time this season. Chicago won first matchup 5-4 as the Predators look for revenge after 2009 playoff elimination.
My Pick: Predators
Tampa Bay Lightning (14th) at Phoenix Coyotes (12th)
Last 10: TBL: 3-6-1; PHX: 3-3-4
Quick Look: Coyotes haven't beaten the Lighting in three years as Mike Smith (PHX goaltender) plays his former team.
My Pick: Coyotes
Dallas Stars (10th) at Minnesota Wild (9th)
Last 10: DAL: 4-5-1; MIN: 2-6-2
Quick Look: First time matchup for two struggling, bubble teams as both teams have lost the past four games.
My Pick: Stars
Calgary Flames (11th) at Edmonton Oilers (14th)
Last 10: CGY: 4-4-2; EDM: 2-7-1
Quick Look: The Battle of Alberta sees Calgary dominating as they have won the past three in these teams' fourth meeting.
My Pick: Flames
Colorado Avalanche (8th) at Los Angeles Kings (7th)
Last 10: COL: 6-3-1; LAK: 5-1-4
Quick Look: Third of four meetings between two playoff teams as the Kings look for their first win against a young Avalanche team.
My Pick: Avalanche
Game of the Night: Rangers at Bruins

Welcome to the Greatest Hockey Blog EVER
If you are a hockey, you are in luck. If you are not a hockey fan, then I hope to persuade you to become one.
In this blog, I will aim to give insight on the NHL and other hockey leagues around the world. I am a huge hockey fan and an even more avid Flyers fan. Hockey is my life, plain and simple. I want to cover the game in a respectful and objective manner, but also with some flair.
I will post cool photos, videos, links, quizzes and even conduct games with you, the followers. Look for daily updates on all the night's hockey games in the NHL, news around the NHL and previews of games in the NHL. Along with these updates, I will post articles in my voice like a traditional sports blog, but I will also post Top Ten Lists and other fun and entertaining lists.
I am new to blogging and I am not sure how this blog will develop, but I just want this to be a blog that is fun to update and maybe attract some fans, as long as they are respectful. So, I will leave you with a quote, which I will end every post with, from Gene Hart, a legendary Flyers radio and TV announcer:
Good Night and Good Hockey.
